Stuck on a file, an order or a number?
Most questions about this catalog are really one of three: the file cannot be found, the order has not moved, or the numbers do not match. The first two the site answers on its own, and the links below go straight to them.
For everything else, the form further down composes a message with the identifiers already laid out and opens it in your mail app. Nothing is sent from this page — you send it, and the reply comes back to the address you sent it from.
Faster than writing to us
Three questions the catalog answers on its own, in the time it would take to describe them.
Before you write
Six questions this catalog produces more than any others, answered by what the system does today.
- How do I find the file for an ECU I have in front of me?
- Search the hardware number, the software number or the controller name — whichever is legible on the label. Separators do not matter: the search strips whitespace on both sides of the comparison. If the ECU is still in the car, start from the vehicle instead and narrow from there.
- I placed an order and it says pending. What now?
- An order opens as pending and becomes paid when Stripe confirms the payment, which is what grants download access. If you left the payment page without finishing, nothing was charged and the order stays pending. If you did pay and it still says pending minutes later, quote the order number and write in — the confirmation reaches us separately from your browser, so a closed tab never loses a payment.
- How long does download access last?
- A paid order grants 5 downloads per file, valid for 30 days. Everything you own is under My Downloads, searchable by hardware number, software number or ECU — the counter and the expiry are shown against each file, and against each item on the order. Every download link is generated fresh when you click, expires within minutes and counts against the allowance, so save the file rather than the link. If you run out or the access lapses, write in and quote the order number and we can reopen it.
- Can you tell me which ECU my car has?
- No. The catalog helps you locate a file that matches an ECU you have already identified; it does not diagnose vehicles, and the platform is not intended for vehicle owners. If you do not have a hardware number, a software number or a controller name, there is nothing here that can be matched against.
- The file I need is not in the catalog.
- Then it is not published — a record with nothing on sale against it never appears in search, so an empty result is an honest one rather than a fault. Send the hardware and software numbers and what you need done to the file; that pair is enough to say whether it can be sourced.
